But really, if we win, I'll be pretty ing happy. Doesn't mean we are going to beat the Mavs in the playoffs though. We beat them in March in the 05/06 season, and that didn't get us anywhere when we played them. I'd like to win it just to establish that we can indeed beat them

And actually duncan228, I think the playoffs have pretty much begun. When the top 8 teams are separated by 5 or 6 games, any team is in danger of falling out with a bad streak, or a signficant injury that lasts more than a few games.
Oops tomorrow it is. As you can see, after the recent stretch of boring Laker games and Spur games, I'm looking forward to some real matchups.
True Findog, the West is too tight to mess around, but it's still one game in February.
The Playoffs are down the road.
The Spurs have a lot to work on before they're ready for any 7 game series.
Everything until then is more fine tuning.
Win or lose this game, it doesn't mean in April/May.
