I doubt it, I think you, Oh Gee, and Boutons have another step-brother...
Actually, this is one of Sequ's better forum posts...
Obama blows more than he sucks. Old saying: He is as full of
crap as a Christmas turkey.
What, you don't have faith that the Obamassiah will save your soul?
you seem to have it in for this guy.
Since he's probably got the nomination in hand, it's time to mobilize the snark brigade. Nothing personal; he seems like a decent enough guy, except for being a liberal. The people who faint at the sight of him are dimwits, nevertheless.
(note to self: Never eat holiday turkey prepared at Xrays house)
Most candidates do, just look at the last election
I'm looking towards the future.
By supporting a guy who is promising more of the past's failed programs?
Good luck with that.
good luck joe. are you sure you wouldn't feel more comfortable under a rightwing blanket of fear?
ohhh the good old days...
Who's selling fear?
I know who's selling snake oil.
the term "snake oil salesman" is often used by banjo pickers.
The future, like the past, will continuation of America's corporations, protected and abetted by Repugs, at war or threatening war as has been the case for decades.
As much as I'd like the US out of Iraq (700 other foreign bases), I don't think Obama can win against corporate $Bs. Nobody can.

Like how the dems are fear-mongering the economy right now?
We are going to stick it to the evil wealthy (except politicians, they don't play that game), we are going to implement uni healthcare, we are going implement more social programs, we are going to hug some trees, we aren't going to fix social security (because after all, we the politicians don't have to pay into it so we don't give a )...The economy will be great!
Ever notice how Obama speaks about going after the credit companies instead of telling the people they need to educate themselves so they can go up against these credit companies? Ever notice he wants to increase min wage instead of putting emphasis on not having to rely on min. wage? Notice a pattern?

you left out euro vs dollar.....billions being paid to shia, sunni and kurd (which will blowup in our faces).......being china's new .
Obama was waiting for this endorsement.
"fear-mongering the economy right now"
Everybody worth listening to, not only Dems, is saying the economy sucks, zero growth, even contraction, will continue to suck past 20 Jan 09, and that's not even if all the risks play out. They don't konw WTF is going to happen, but all indicators and trend lines are negatives.
Can't pin the bad economy on the Dems. its totally ed up after 7 years of the Repugs running the show.

I've heard Obama use the phrase "nation in peril" more than once during this campaign. Surely there are real problems, but the Republicans can't be the only ones accused of using hyperbole to scare people into voting for them.
I love that Boutons edits his posts a good two hours after making them.
OBAMA FOR CHANGE. I like Obama more than Hillary and Democrats more than Republicans. I don't want another republican for Washington. I disagree with the Bush Administration and all that killing hour. Please, don't be afraid and don't permit to be fooled by all that war paranoia.

Obama is right...we are running big deficits at a time that we should be paying off the national debt....foreigners feed us their credit and then try to dictate foreign policy to our dear leader....there is no telling when these countries will say, enough is enough...we don't want anymore worthless dollars or IOUs....and that day of reckoning is getting closer and closer at hand thanks in large part to the trillions of dollars we are spending in Iraq, Afghanistan and the rest of the world...
