    Yeah, I will give Barry a standing ovation (meaning I will stand up clap, Slomo and Shoog) because he could have gone for more money or more playing time elsewhere. But instead proved he was a Spur at heart.

    Seriously...the ST Faithful that go to games have to get a Mango Tree Chant going. That'd be funny. It also make it clear to Bowen and Manu that they really can't be the Mango Tree.

    that's just what I was thinking.

    Barry is a legit part of our system though. His defense is ass but he's valuable to have when teams double up on someone else.

    Barry didn't have _anything_ to prove to the Spurs. We traded him. Business. Why should players have any more loyalty than ownership?

    I'd say you're right to an extent...he didn't have to come back, he didn't have to be loyal, a lot of guys probably wouldn't have...but he was...and that's the point.
