You don't have to be a parent to think that was pretty ed up. The kid took it well for a long while though. If I was the kid, I would've punched the out of the with the camera.

I seen this and the whole story is he was busted peeking at his gifts so rather than yell at him then, they decided to do that. He still got the Xbox after all that, It was just there way of punishing him, Better than taking it back to the store the day he was busted peeking, because then he would have gotten no Xbox.

Well before Slydragon posted that the boy peeked at his gifts, and that was their way to punish him. Which still didn't make what they were doing, right. I thought that they're teasing and laughing at him was the worst kind of emotional abuse I've ever seen. Maybe I'm a sucker for sad little kids with sad little eyes, or I don't have the same sense of humor that others do.

That's right!!!! We need to mentally abuse children so that they can grow up f'd up and shoot up schools when they finally get tired of being bullied.
If that is the punishment for peeking, then it's fine, I'd say. Otherwise, it was a bit uncalled for - especially with the incessant laughing and filming.
BUT, there is no shame in not getting an XBox360 for the holidays because everyone knows those things cost an arm and a leg. People should be happy just to get gifts cause not everyone is fortunate enough to.
