While I don't know if Dirk deserved all 21 of his FT's, the reality of the situation is that he was far more aggressive at attacking the rim than anyone in Silver and Black.

Excuse me? Did you even watch the game? The Mavs went 26-31 from the line, while the Spurs went 16-22. Dirk alone went 17-21. It's like the NBA knows the Mavs can't win against the Spurs so they instruct the refs to favor Dirk. That's why against the Kings he gets only 2 free throws. If not for all the free throws Dirk would have scored like 11 points against the Spurs.

+9 at the line on the road? (+11 not counting the easily avoidable technicals)

you have to be a pretty greedy bas to think that the other team still got more calls. (especially with the way damp and bass were allowed to body up on duncan. no spur was allowed to do that to Dirk.)

i'm ecstatic if the spurs just get a 50/50 split at the line in road games.

My favorite part of the Spurs vs. Mavs game was when at one point in the fourth quarter, Dirk had more free throws attempted than the rest of the Mavs and the entire Spurs team combined.

If you chart the number of times when Dirk shoots or drives, has someone within two feet of him, and either stumbles, flails or both, it's got to be pretty close to 100%.
