No high school bball fans here?
Anyone actually seen them play this year or know much about their basketball team? My old alma mater plays them in the state tournament next week, and I was wondering what kind of team they're up against. They're the biggest group of assholes you'll ever meet and their coach is the biggest bag of all, and i'm kind of pulling for them to lose. Didn't want to put this in the Spurs forum since its not Spurs related, but also wanted to put it somewhere where it would get alot of traffic. Any input is appreciated

West Campus, which will close at the end of the school year, extended its storybook season with a 39-35 victory over district rival La Vernia in the Class 3A Region IV final on Saturday at Texas A&M-Kingsville's Steinke Center.

Since West Campus is closing, they will combine with South San and South San has been placed into district 27-5A with these other teams for the next two seasons.

I have seen West Campus play only once and that was against LaVernia in a district game. They have some tall post and their guards can handle the ball well. LaVernia has a 6"7 so that shows how good they are. I don't know how tall the tallest WC player is, but they are really good. What a way to end the closure of the school...
It should be mentioned that this high school is closing because it was flooded. The students are all attending the high school they are merging with, so they have two sets of high school teams this year, but not next year. BTW, that school district needed to close schools so the timing was fortuitous.
Well, as it turns out the pairings aren't how I thought they would be and San Antonio West actually plays Burkburnett, another really strong team. Anyone seen Silsbee play this year?

It will be funny to see when South San plays Judson and Wagner in football.
