go mavs
i wish they could both notch marks in the lose column, but realistically, who do you cheer for, the mavs, or the lakers?
if the mavs win, then our 1st place is a little bit more secure..
on the other hand, if the lakers win, our lead on the southwest division is much larger..
personally, im going for the mavs.![]()
For instance , i hope they play J Kidd at the end of the game.
Lakers. Mavs are dangerous to Spurs already. with HCA, even more.
Lakers, if we gonna beat them, it does not matter at home or not.
Hate to do it, but I'm pulling for the Mavs in this one.
Especially since Phoenix is playing themselves right to the 8th seed right now.
We shut down the Forum...And we'll do the same to the Staple Center.
i know we have to win on the road..
but i would personally much rather have home court advantage.
The only reason I'd rather see Dallas win is the entertainment factor that a Lamer loss creates for all the purple and YELLOW honks out here on the local radio shows.
The Lakers are moving?
Lakers. Spurs should get at least 1st in SW Div. to ensure top 4 seed.
195 190
7 overtimes
All the starters play over 55 minutes.
Spurs win one more we have HCA, Lakers lose one more we have HCA.
Of course we have a whole lot of time left to run up and down the conference ladder.
Go Lakers. Ugh, I almost puked typing that out. We need to put as much distance between us and Dallas and New Orleans.
General convention would say to root for the Lakers to help expand our lead on the division. Winning the division this year looks like it will be no small feat.
However, looking forward to possible playoff matchups, I think the Spurs have a better chance of beating the Mavs on the road than the Lakers, so I want L.A. to pick up any loss it can.
If only there were some way an iceberg or something could hit Staples Center.
They are?
I hate the Mavs but hope they slow down the Lakers tommorrow. The Lakers are clearly the team to beat in the West right now.
The Mavs era is over.
Mavs over Lakers hopefully.
I think I want the Mavs to win. We don't want them to fall low enough in the standings to where they can become a first round matchup for the Spurs.
Good point.
The Mavs are still a decent team even though they lost their matchups edge against us. Give them a little credit. Key word, little.
Nothing pisses me off more right now than hearing about the Lakers. Like Barkley said on Inside the NBA, they got Pau Gasol for a ing happy meal. Talk about the Mavs and Stackhouse trying to trade him when they knew he would be waived and then the Spurs beating the Mavs at their own game doing it with Barry, but how messed up is that? Can I get Van Halen to come play my birthday for a pack of smokes and some used toilet paper?
And scrubs like Jordan Farmar and Sasha Vujacic playing like they are Scottie Pippen and Steve Kerr. Seriously. WTF?
I think we could beat both of these teams in the playoffs but all this Laker hype is lame.
Easy, I'll be rooting for the Spurs right at the Izod Center.
We need to clinch a playoff spot, and then we can worry about positioning and HCA.
