    You need a video card with the appropriate outputs or you need a TV with a VGA input. Thats about it.

    S Video cord? 12 dollars at office max or 3 dollars on eBay

    My laptop came with an S-Video output and I had the S-Video cable. So it was not any work at all for me.

    Are you talking about hooking your PC up to your TV or getting TV onto your PC? Two different things.

    If you want to view your PC on your TV, you just need a cable that connects into the port on your PC where you would plug in your monitor.
