Awesome! I can't wait till he gets back on the court. The Lakers will dominate this league for the next 5 years with a healthy Bynum!

I just hope he returns healthy and ready to go...if not then 09 should be a great year for the Lakes.

I really don't see why he wont be factor under 100 percent healthy. He's big and his defense should be easy for him to adjust to, maybe offensively he would lag but the lakers have enough firepower where an occasional offensive rebound would be enough from him. If he doesn't come back, which by all accounts is just wishful thinking from our compe ors, then I would worry.

We miss his intimidating presence on the defensive end more than anything.

I almost forgot how long he is. He definitely takes up a lot of space. I love the ejection vs San An, that's what I want to see, some fire. He let Oberto get under his skin though, but I like the fire and passion.

I have heard he is still having trouble with swelling in his knee. I think his injury is more serious than the Lakers are letting on.

The swelling is going to be there for awhile, it might not completely go away until after the offseason. The important thing is that he is experiencing no pain during the rehab.

I heard him say in an interview that he didn't expect to play until the swelling subsided. Does that mean he won't play this year?

He'll be back around early April most likely from all the local reports.

Yeah I read an La Times report that he's already jogging in a pool with no swelling. Still hasn't hit the treadmill yet....Early April makes more sense, but then again until he steps on the court you never know.

You need to be more interested in how the Rockets will do next year with Yao's return.
