I've been hating the Lakers most of my adult life, and there are plenty of reasons to dislike Kobe on a personal level (see O'Neal, Shaq), but these rape jokes need to stop. Last I checked we lived in a country where dismissed charges are even more prejudicial towards defendant than being found not guilty by jury.
Does anyone here believe that a woman finds herself alone with Kobe freaking Bryant in a hotel room with any intention but to be a star er? The judge certainly didn't.
All that the ordeal showed was that Kobe was an adulterer and will go to great lengths to be with his team. Please, hate on Kobe for things that actually happened and not for whatever inflammatory accusations you find most damaging.

If any of you guys paid attention to the facts of the case, Kobe didn't commit rape.
He, as stated above, commited adultry. Really, he's a chump who almost got taken to the cleaners. Fortunately for him, the that was accusing him of rape, didn't play it smart and decided to go screw around a couple hours later.
