the phx game proved manu and the spurs are better when tony is off the court. manu is just way better at controlling the offense than parker and he showed it yesterday.

I disagree best players must be on court, I know TP isn't the best when he sucks, but the same could be said of Manu, TD and the rest of the crew.

I like TP running the game during 1st and 3rd, leaving Manu 2nd an 4th; but that not necessary means they couldn't be at the same time on the floor.

Just another example of jumping on Tony and Manu getting a free pass...

I love both of them but Tony can't have a few bad games after coming back from injury, without getting crucified.

But Manu has a bad game and its ok b/c thats the way he plays and we love him for hit.

Plus his last name ends in a vowel

    Disagree...

Manu and Tony need to be on the court together more, so that neither feels like they MUST be the focal point on offense. Often times that results in either or both looking for their shot too much and forcing the issue.

Plus, having them out there together naturally gets them better shots for one another because the defense can't key on just one.

I do think it works better to bring Manu off the bench, but playing Manu and Tony together is not the problem, IMO>

ROFL. Ginobili has a bad game and of course it's somehow Parker's fault.

Wow how many fans would be happy to have the Finals MVP traded away from their team? Probably none. However, how many Spur fans would be happy. I'd say like 1/3.

they play great together but better apart. pacers are and they almost stole that game. suns, a better team beat us. what stood out? spurs played best when manu was running the show. you must have not of seen yesterdays game.

spurs are better when manu is controlling the offense. manu controls the offense best when tony is sitting down.

the bottom line is manu is a wayyyyy better play maker than tony. tony tries to be the first option every time he brings the ball up the court. manu doesn't, he looks for plays and makes them happen.

you're right, ideally they both belong on the floor at the same time, but if tony isn't gonna be a pg then pop needs to sit his ass down and let manu run things. spurs play better when manu runs the offense, he proves this every game.
