This one time I have to agree! The Zone just doesn't get it.
If you were listening, The Sports Grind with Calvin Casey, Rudy J and Salami debuted today at 6pm following STSA. Nice to hear more high quality, insightful programming on Ticket 760. ESpeeN was talking about gay cars while Calvin and Rudy J were grinding on The Spurs matchup against the Nuggets. Don't even call those wannabees at ESpeeN our "compe ion." They're a joke. And their jokes aren't very funny either. It'll take more than a self-proclaimed "coach," a manic re- , a weekend re-tread and a butch NASCAR "girl" to challenge San Antonio's Sports Leader.

A talk show is like baking. You have a little of many things in making lets say a cake.
You have flour=Sports you have sugar=comedy and you have the temperature=timing
Somehow Chris Duel's cakes are coming out too sweet,dry,and over cooked.
I will tune in until Friday but I may have to go back to STSA.
And that is something I promised myself I would not do after that turn coat tree hugging brown nose Mike Taylor came to town.

Actually this Espn vs the ticket is like Obama vs Clinton the end result is a town divided. If only the two stations could work together and complement each other the sports world we live in could be a better place.

They are good since they are not spoiled yet. Kinda like the Thompson Bros when they were doing Saturdays only. As soon as they hit WOAI prime time their at udes and mo-jo was off and they lost me as a listener.
If your going to preach Home grown radio at least keep it real.
I will tune in today and maybe call in if I don't have to worry about getting past the call screener. Maybe I will use the name Sonny from the south side.
The Mike Taylor show would be ok if he turned down the Ego trip a notch or two.
But from what I have heard from his buddy's in Dallas that will never happen. He is Gods gift to talk radio and the only thing you have to fear in life is...........
The head to head hot chick of the day is not original, and over played but if thats what it takes to get these horny red necks and Mexicans to go to the site and call in the show more power to the station.
One thing I don't get is why Mike Taylor and his lap dog Jim Slob backed down from meeting Chris Duel. That makes me wonder what kind of vato this Mr. Taylor really is.

You should have posted that under one of your other screen names, because all you just did was discredit yourself.
First off, you know damn well Taylor and I didn't "back down" from meeting Mr. Duel. He knows how to get a hold of us if he wants to meet.
Second, don't pretend like you know Taylor's "buddy's in Dallas." You like to pose around here like you are all in the radio know, etc., etc. but you're not fooling anyone. No one on here really thinks you're a radio badass. Just because you know Chris Duel, doesn't mean you know people ALL over the radio business.
Go ahead and call me names, Mouse, because apparently you're good at it. But at the end of the day, you're a hapless rodent with multiple screen names sitting at a computer talking to yourself in message board threads.

All i know is STSA hardly ever addressed spurstalk before Chris Duel and ESPN came on, now they post threads as often as they play commercials...
Well, to be honest, there was a thread started about the Ticket and Mike Taylor's arrival before I even joined this site (I joined to eb a aprt of it). You are correct, we've been posting more lately, but also because there was some -talking going on about us.
Some people make it seem like we just decided to show up and start posting threads about the Ticket, which is wrong. MOST of the threads you are reading about the Ticket are being started by someone who is not affiliated with our station. The one I started was simply a PSA announcing the Sports Grind starting on weekdays at 6...that was it.
I can't help it that some people on this site are lonely, unhappy individuals with no life who play around with 20 different screen names and try to pretend they are something they aren't.

And do you always insult people who are always online? The same people you guys keep wanting to visit your Ticket.com page? Your words will come to bite you on the ass now that we know how you really feel about people online. I knew it was a matter of time when the real motive you guys have will be exposed.
Don't forget to tell the listeners this week that hang out at your site they have no life. I am sure many of them read this site also.

Wow T Park was right about these fellas. They don't give a rats ass about us and talk bad about us daily it seems. Good to see the Don Harris in them come out early. I was really going to start supporting this new show and Mike Taylor.

If you take away all of Mouse's aliases, there would be about 40% few posts in here. That's the point he was trying to make. Like I said in another thread, the only thing the Ticket has is Romey.He is the only show I still listen to on 760. When the insults to me and my friends on this website were said, I shut them off and havent been back since.
I listen to Sirius for the rest of the day until Duel and crew come on at 5. I really enjoy the show, and they actually seem to care what the people have to say. And for that I will be a devoted listener. The only thing I wish is that 1250 would boost their signal so I can pick them up when I go home. I usually loose them about 1863 and 281, then I go back to my Sirius.
