the saints have to pick as to whom they want to be their starting tailback this season most people would pick reggie but as last season showed reggie cannot carry the majority of the load and when Deuce isn't hurt he is a reliable as they come. So my pick is Deuce McCalister

Anaybody who would pick Bush over McAllister at this point either is one of those idiots who think that commercials and hype are the same thing as skill, or is a USC fanboy.

Bush is a wide receiver playing tailback.

Reggie Bush is banging Kim Kardashian. I have to give him a for that.

As far as football goes, he blows. I'd take Deuce over him any day.

    knee-jerk reactions are funny.

hey Kevin Carter got 17 sacks one year. I guess everyone is an idiot for passing on him.

Priest Holmes didn't impress anybody in his first 4 seasons. I guess that guy really sucked ass.

I think the knee jerk was when he was drafted and the comments now are more down to earth.

I don't think he will be a total bust by any means but not the second coming of Marshall Faulk as he was heralded.

You all are hating on Bush now, but the NFL game has been an adjustment and Sean Payton is a ty coach. Bush could dominate the league if used properly. ing Sean Payton is not using him correctly. He needs to get out of N.O. before the Saints ruin him.

Funny how you all hate on Bush because you are either A)Longhorn fans(you all won, get over your hate already) or B.) Texan fans(who wish you had Bush now and are jealous)
Had the Texans drafted Bush, he would be tearing up the league.

I think Bush has made it abundantly clear that he is a very fquick and fast ball-carrier who is not physical enough to get through the line of scrimmage. He goes down as soon as he gets hit. He is most effective catching passes. Moving him to wide receiver would be "using him properly."

So, unless he's somehow going to gain 30 lbs. of muscle in his lower body without losing his speed, he should spend his time catching passes and returning kicks, like Dante Hall did.

If the Texans had drafted Bush he would be in even worse shape. They don't have a very good line and the style of offense run by Kubiak wouldn't suit his style.

It's always the coach, isn't it?

Did you mean to add some more choices here?

Are you kidding me? In a zone-blocking scheme, where you see the hole, make 1 cut and you could be gone.

Case in point, look at Selvin Young last year with the Broncos. He did quite well. How do you think he'd of done if he'd been with the Saints. You put Bush in that type of offense and you get a very productive Bush.

Even Ahman Green, back in the day, would of been productive in Kubiak's offense.

No, that pretty much sums up the short mindedness in this thread.

I believe when healthy he always started. They were a good combo. Bush flaws were more exposed when Deuce got hurt and had to carry the load.
Bush's hype make him look like a bum, bu he's far from it.

It doesnt even matter what move the Aints make. They dont have that emotional fire from Katrina anymore. Put them down for another 7-9 season and missing the playoffs.
