Sorry, but it's his fault.
If deported back home
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/wor...anian.fate.cnn
jochhejaam and other conservative/religious fanatics are rejoicing I guess that like this still happens
Sorry, but it's his fault.
Why is he being deported?
Iranian
sheesh...
just like its blacks fault they were enslaved in the early 1800s
He's being deported from Britain, not the U.S.
My neighbor is from Iran, we're not deporting him. We don't just send people back where they came from without a reason.
Okay, well, the Brits may send people back where they came from for no reason...but, what's their excuse?
He was in Britain studying English, found out his boyfriend had been executed for sodomy, and that Iranian authorities are looking for him. He applied for asylum. The British government rejected his application, contending that even though they acknowledge that Iran executes sexuals, since they are not systematically rounding up every sexual and killing them, it doesn't count as repression worthy of asylum, even though this particular youth will certainly be put to death on account of his notoriety.
He then fled to the Netherlands, which supposedly has a specific program granting asylum to gay Iranians. However, since he came there from the UK, rather than directly from Iran, he does not qualify, and is set to be sent back to the UK, who then will immediately deport him back to Iran, who will then immediately arrest him and execute him via slow strangulation (Iran doesn't do quick hangings; they do it the slow, painful way that takes hours).
I really have no explanation for how this can happen.
You can't be gay and from Iran, it just doesn't add up. 2+2 does not equal 5. I call BS on this. Does the guy know they will kill you for being gay? I mean if I were gay and living in Iran, I'd keep quiet until I moved, then I would email/call Iran telling them I am gay and start talking trash.
In the future, when you have absolutely no idea what the you are talking about, and don't wish to find out either, it's better to refrain from offering an opinion.
WTF are you talking about? You'd have to be an idiot to admit you are gay in Iran, because they would kill you. That's the general point I was trying to make, I know there are gays everywhere. I guess my wording was edgy when I said you can't be gay and Iranian, you can be gay and Iranian, but not gay and live in Iran.
So the guy was cheating on him? Tsk Tsk........![]()
Since had you bothered to educate yourself prior to offering an opinion, you would know that the young man in question is currently not in Iran, and is in fact desperately trying not to be sent back to Iran, and in fact has applied for asylum so as not to be sent back to Iran, I stand by my previous admonishment, and add that I am perplexed at your apparent inability even so much as to read my post in the thread giving details on the case. Is there something defective with your cognitive abilites perhaps? Are you not getting enough sleep?
Please do not become a neurosurgeon. I would hate for you to operate on somebody's brain without first learning the details of his case, or being able to read simple instructions from a nurse or colleague.
I was referring to the gay guy who got killed in Iran, not this new guy.

As if an internet persona directly relates to someone in real life.PHAIL.
this makes perfect sense as to why republicans won't go to Iran for talks.
No you weren't.
According to the rules of the English language, since the young man who already had been executed had not been identified in this discussion thread, you cannot use the possessive pronoun 'his' to refer to him. The pronoun 'his' can only refer to the gay Iranian teen who is facing execution.
So either you are lying to cover up your inability to process simple facts in order to arrive at a conclusion, and are stupid enough to think we might fall for your lame excuse, or you lack a first-grader's command of the English language. I can observe from your other posts that the latter is not likely to be the case, so I conclude that the former is true.
Yeah because the Irainians are so level headed and compromising....a fact to which these gays dudes can attest.
clambake is definitely right, these people that will execute someone for being gay or changing their religion from ISlam, or women for being raped, are actually pretty open minded enlightened dudes...we're the backwards assholes for not understanding that.
That post has nothing to do with it. These two posts do, which were posted after you posted your summary of the video:
The post you quoted was about the main guy, these quotes are about the other guy and yes it is his fault for being gay and admitting in Iran, why else would he be on the run like the video said? If he didn't openly admit he were gay he would never have to flee the country instead stay quiet for a coupel months and leave the country without opening up his orientation.
Nice way to alter . PHAIL.

Yonivore...the Brits cons ution is not like ours...
It is completely within the tenets of their cons ution, for their ultra liberal, Anti American, PM, to send this guy back to Iran to his death.
As for why he's doing it...well, he's a liberal so sending this kid to his death is the next best thing to bending over and taking it up the ass from a Mullah. Plus it'll keep him on the Iranians good side...
So now your excuse is that you have an internet "persona" who is a complete idiot incapable of processing basic facts, in contrast to the real you who of course is smart and debonair.
That seems peculiar. Do you think people would find such a persona entertaining? Does impersonating an idiot amuse you? And why is it that you only admit to this "persona" when it has rhetorically shoved its head so far up its own anal orifice so as to exclude any possibility of removal?
This is quite simple on the internet most of the time I act like a /idiot who annoys people, in real life I'm much more different. Do you act like a pompous, sarcastic, arrogant, in real life? Yes it amuses me because I can annoy s like you. In fact I've reiterated this point in the past many times. So this explanation I'm giving is nothing new to me.
Is English your fourth language perhaps? You appear to lack the listening comprehension skills which would be necessary to get past the fifth grade in the United States. How are you in college?
The "boyfriend" was captured by police for an unknown reason. There is nothing to suggest from the video clip that he was publicly "admitting" to anything. The video then tells us that under "interrogation," (in other words, torture) the "boyfriend" gave up Kazemi's name. An arrest warrant was then issued for Kazemi. Kazemi found out about this and sought asylum in Britain, where he was studying.
You fail to comprehend that Kazemi did not "flee" Iran. He left in 2004 to study in Britain, and found out about his arrest warrant two years later during a phone conversation with his father.
You apparently are thinking of Kazemi's 2007 essay in a New York newspaper, which the CNN reporter speculates makes Kazemi's case too high-profile for Iran not to kill him. However, the Iranian arrest warrant for Kazemi was filed in 2006, a year before Kazemi wrote the essay.
I am astonished that you are continuing to argue your case still without having any comprehension of the basic facts. If the video is too confusing to you because of your difficulties with spoken English, you really owed it to yourself to buttress your knowledge with written sources before attempting to debate somebody who is not so cognitively deficient as yourself. Obviously, since you are posting in this forum, you have access to the internet, and could have learned about the case by entering a few keywords into a search engine.
Remaining sanguine on your prospects for success in life is difficult given these glaring deficiencies in your ability to process information, and your further inability to recognize these deficiencies. I advise you to seek remedial assistance at your place of learning before it is too late.
