Epic fail. We had one point guard at the time. Damon was available, Sam I Am was not.

Sam was never going to go anywhere but BOS. He's played with Allen and KG, already has good chemistry with those guys.

well overall he hasn't made our bench any better, with his supposed "offense"

hopefully he gets his shot to fall, but I think he's going to be just another Nick Van Exel in the playoffs.

He played 7 mins in the first half was 1 of 2 and an assist.

Dunno what else hes supposed to do in the amount of time given.

He made the offense better before Pop ed him up.

Gollum > Mighty Mouse but he wasn't available. Plenty of teams that would have liked Cassell but he wanted to go join his old bud KG.

    His D was pathetic tonight

In 8 minutes he was -10

He was so bad that JV played in the 2nd half

I don't know where you guys think your gonna get a good defensive point guard to backup Tony Parker.

Anyone thats that good with any kind of offense is starting and or getting huge money.

He never played defense in his career before.

Hes an offensive point guard playing away from his strengths.

Keep the genius comments coming though!!!

MM should be sent to Austin, even though we can't do that.

Bring JV back as the full-time backup.

his boxscore production doesn't reflect how bad he looks when you watch him play.

Just ill-advised shots, bad defense, stupid mistakes at times for a guy who plays spot minutes and is a veteran. It's hard to be impressed.

Vaughn made less mistakes when he was called for duty. It must mean something if you're the better skilled PG and you're still competing for most of your minutes with a guy like Vaughn after the third/fourth week.

But eh, maybe he needs a little more time. Doesn't seem like he's that comfortable out there still.

I don't know where you people thought he was bringing defense.

You people are thinking of wrong point guards.

Vaughn's at least an adequate defender.

Or plays his man smartly despite his lack of talent.

If Stoudamire can't even get his O game going in exchange for him being a defensive liability, there's no point in using him, since he seems to make more TO's than Vaughn in games.

well how about his offense whish has been for the past 3 weeks or so? If he can't play defense or offense then what is the point of him being out on the floor?

He also just stand on top of the key and dribbles too much.

Vaughn at least can take it the basket and play the occasional D.

In the Playoffs, Vaughn will be the guy with the minutes - Finley and the Mouse will sit for good...

I agree he's our 4th option on offense and he's going to be real handy in the playoffs.

He's the only one outside of Barry + the big three that can make a pull up jumpshot
