It's interesting that in the off-season the Rockets draft Aaron Brooks, then trade for Mike James, and then pick up Steve Francis and seemingly were setting up the team to get rid of Rafer Alston after his troubles on and off the court. Didn't Alston allegedly stab someone in a club or something like that? Consequently, Alston's play has been one of the biggest reasons why the Rockets have had all this success lately.

Win or lose this game the Rockets don't scare me. Offensively they aren't playing in a way that can give them post season success. Too much reliance on the 3pt shot, no interior scoring.

This reminds of the Magic game we played a month ago where they hit almost a dozen threes in the 1st quarter, then cooled off and lost the game because they couldn't score from anywhere else.

Like I said the Rockets have NO interior scoring. You can't get far without that in the playoffs. All they do is chuck 3's, it's great when they are falling, but any team relying that much on the 3pt shot is setting themselves up for a fall.

^Exactly. The Rockets are playing out of their minds right now and they should be damn happy about the streak, lots to build on for next year. But any Rox fan thinking they have a shot at a ring is ing delusional.

Van Gundy is a huge Rockets homer, which is odd considering they fired him.

Anyways if this is the Rocket team we have to face in the playoffs I'm not the least bit worried. They aren't contenders by any means. The only teams capable of winning the WC that I can see are the Spurs, Lakers, Mavs, and Suns.

Rockets, Jazz, Hornets, Warriors are not good enough.

I would have to put the Hornets in the contender category.
