I do internet search and it seem in America spell name as Amerika mean a "slur" as this refer to communist thing because some book and tv thing have call it this to mean communist rule in America. Amerikkka would be for the "kkk" it say.....
But see in many country this is the proper spelling of Amerika. Why can American fan here just not explain such thing to person who not know instead of just use the bad language and the rude responses?
You expect all people realize that some people in America have nickname for communist in America as Amerika? How you expect people to understand such thing when in their country it just the correct way it spelled in language? No need get so rude about this. Maybe you should explain this to some other people.
What if there are foreign speaker that are on board who come from country that also spell it Amerika?

Because in English it is spelled America. It's like I was speaking to you in English and called your country Grecia.
I am tired of loosing.
I understand but yet in MANY places in English they spell it Amerika. This is the confusing thing. Amerika is English version just the version of some different country.
Yes I must ask my English teacher about this. Because it is confusing. For Greek speaker, correct spelling in English is as but it should have spelling of Ellas. But English spell it as as.
But the actual spelling should be Ellas.
I know there are Spanish and French and such fans here but they do not have to switch different alphabet just like even Asian speaker, he will not have issue because no alphabet.
Do the American members here understand it harder to know such things if have different alphabet like Greek? Many people in as grow up in Athens and Saloniki such big cities as this.
I grow up in village area and it still issue for English. Most people learn Turkish or Italian or just Greek base on where they grow up. Only the people in bigger city or have money or the people in the British area learn good English.
I move to Crete and so have to learn the English much better because area mainly have the British people.

Yeah, I've seen the "Amerikkka" spelling/meme out there. In this country, at least, the spelling denotes a derisive at ude towards America, that somehow we're the enemy of human rights, freedom, etc. Or at least a deeply bigoted and hateful country. My response to that at ude would be: unfortunately we do have some dumb musguided fools who are racists, bigots, and enemies of freedom. But that is not essentially who WE are.

I have studied Greek, but it is not modern. It is Koine, the language of the New Testament.
Modern and Koine are not that different. Modern just has more loan words from other languages.
Yes, I understand the vowels are simplified, and the optative mood of Koine is gone. Not that the optative shows up more than about 80 times in the NT anyway.
