Can't the State dept hire some chicken contractors from Georgia? of course not. After 5 years of kicking ass and bull press releases and McCain/ head making show trips, it's still too damn dangerous in Iraq for anything near normal life.
The Iraqi oil is flowing somewhat ONLY because the insurgents are allowed to siphon off millions of petro dollars for themselves. Cut them out of the oil $$$, and they blow up the pipelines.
