Like he said, racial steroptying (which I think of different than racism) is bred into the vast majority of people. Apparently it infects him, as well. Big deal.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/taylor...c_b_92601.htmlThe point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn't. But she is a typical white person who, uh, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know there's a reaction that's been been bred into our experiences that don't go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way and that's just the nature of race in our society. We have to break through it...
If this were Hillary or McCain saying 'the typical black person', Al, Jesse, and the rest of the race brigade would be all over it.
So much for Obama's 'unifier' campaign focus, looks like he attended one too many of Rev. Wright's sermons.
Like he said, racial steroptying (which I think of different than racism) is bred into the vast majority of people. Apparently it infects him, as well. Big deal.
So Jesse and Al are bad and yet here we are doing exactly what they do. Are we really going to make a big deal about this? Thank God it's Friday...
Good Friday.
Holy crap!! Chris Wallace actually defended Obama on this issue -
That was unexpected.![]()
what's Good about today?
I stand by my assessment it was a good speech the other day but, with his "typical white" person assertion -- tied in with his throwing his white grandmother under the bus -- I'm starting to wonder how sincere was that speech.
Also, some have pointed out how similar it is to the RFK speech delivered on the event of MLK Jr.'s assassination.
Ooops!
Still gets and A+ for delivery...his grade in content and originality, however, are starting to slip.
But, I don't care, so long long as he and Hillary are still at it come convention time. And, if the current polls hold, McCain is getting 10% of the Democrat vote no matter how you slice it.
God was glorified in the crucifixion of His son, Jesus Christ. It was good, in that, without his death, there would have been no resurrection and no absolultion. Our salvation would have been in jeopardy.
That's why it's called Good Friday.
No debate on the Christian faith, I'm just answering the question as to why it's called Good Friday.
"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. matthew 12:40"
start at friday and apply what's written.
I didn't see a question about why it was called Good Friday, just what's good about it, which around my office, get's said alot whenever anyone says "good morning"![]()
If Clinton or McCain said something about the typical black person, they'd have the liberal press, the NCAACP, Black Panthers, Al, Jesse, and Obama's preacher all over their ass.
Hypocrisy reigns supreme, I guess.
It's not so much about Al and Jesse, it's the whole premise that Obama can stereotype white people and that's okay, yet Obama can play the race card when anyone goes on the attack on him. ing hypocritical, especially coming from a candidate preaching change and unity. So Jesse and Al are bad and yet here we are doing exactly what they do. Are we really going to make a big deal about this? Thank God it's Friday...
The "...what's good about it..." part, is a question. And, Viva's post even put the appropriate question mark at the end.![]()
I meant it's Good Friday because steak is cheaper due to all the Catholics eating fish.
Another bonus.
I haven't even heard from Al or Jesse in years. They've race baited themselves into relative irrelevance. Why are we carrying on their legacy by using their tactics?
I'm guessing all of us know Obama didn't mean all white people are racists. Right?
Good lord...who freaking cares? Do we really need to hyper analyze everything this man says?
Outside of the 'white people' talk, I guess you embrace his horrendous socialist spending plan? His white people comment is just the latest to add to the laundry list of reasons why this guy would be horrible for our country.
I see many typical responses to Obama's remarks.
I think you just made my point for me. The media obsesses about some pointless talk like if he wears a american flag pin while no one wants to talk about his socialist spending plan (no, i dont even come close to supporting it). This "election coverage" is turning into Entertainment Tonight.
good friday? is it steak and blowjob day again?
Typical political caca.
Considering the blowup over McCain's comment about AQ, it's only fair to criticize Obama's comments as well...
You ever notice how white people drive like this "deedle deedle dee" and Black people drive like this *act laid back and cool*?
You ever notice how white people have names like "Lenny," but Black people have names like "Carl"?
It's true! We're so lame!
Maybe. Although I wish it would all go away. Its probably too much to ask for real news from the MSM
