Tim Duncan
It’s hard to tell whether he’s a little hurt or he’s just rusty from not playing as many minutes as he usually does. Whatever the cause, the effect is a not as dominating Duncan over the last couple weeks.

Bruce Bowen
After being named Western Conference Player of the Week, Bowen had a good game against the Jazz. He seemed like one of the few players who cared whether they won or lost.

Rasho Nesterovic
Nesterovic didn’t play bad but when six points and six rebounds is an above average game for him, something is wrong. One of these games, it’d be nice to see the Spurs’ starting center have a breakout game.

Manu Ginobili
Ginobili’s defense was a little erratic against the Jazz, but he made up for it with some very good offense in the second half – particularly in the fourth quarter.

Tony Parker
His stats looked fine for the game, but Parker didn’t play as well as the numbers indicate. He forced some shots and wasn’t orchestrating the offense as he should. Also, he needs to improve his pathetic free throw shooting.

Brent Barry
His offense was acceptable, but his defense was lacking. He was soft on that end of the court and routinely got beat off the dribble and around picks. The Spurs need him to pick it up in that area.

Horry had four big blocks. That was the good. The bad was he didn’t do too much else. He didn’t make a field goal and finished without a defensive rebound in 20 minutes of play.

Much like Barry, his offense was on while his defense was off. Udrih let the backup guards of the Jazz have their way with him.

Playing only seven minutes, Rose didn’t have a chance to do much other than get fouled flagrantly.

Rasho gets a better grade than Timmy? Why? 24/13 compared to 6/6? I also don't understand that Rasho and Timmy have the same average for jan. Does that mean that Rasho did as well as Timmy? I am just not sure what the grades about??? Sorry for this dumb questions...

One of these games, it’d be nice to see the Spurs’ starting center have a breakout game.

One of these games, it would nice, when Rasho is playing better than Horry and Rose, for his minutes to reflect it.

One of these games, when they need rebounding it would be nice for Rasho to get more minutes.

One of these games it would nice for Pop to run more than 1 whole play for Rasho.

And don't forget that the Spurs outshot the Jazz in FG percentage and still lost. Says a lot about lack of defense.

Just so we can get calibrated, timvp, what's your idea of a completely "average" score? And what's the lowest score you've given anyone on a game this year?

It seems to me, looking at your yearly means to date, that 85 works out to be an average performance.
