    4. 2007 - Spurs 4 Cavs 0
Taking down King James and denying the NBA of it's marketing dreams was awesome.
    3. 2005 - Spurs 4 Pistons 3
Although this was an epic series, and will be underrated for years to come. It's not quite my favorite.
    2. 2003 - Spurs 4 Nets 2
Knowing it was Robinson's retirement year, and having dealt with Duncan being injured and a .4 second shot that had the rulebooks changed.. I was literally praying for SA's King to go out on top. There's no better way to go.
    1. 1999 - Spurs 4 Knicks 1
There's nothing like your first time. I will be honest, I cried when the buzzer sounded and I watched DRob go nuts. I was 15 and had a 13" monitor facing outside my window so I could play ball during commercials. This le for me personally, was more than just a championship, it hit home in a lot of struggles I was going through with my step dad, and other issues. All the crap I had taken for being a Spurs fan since I was little, and collecting news articles from USA Today growing up and reading about such painful losses and heartbreaks in the 90s finally paid off. That was one of the greatest days of my life.

    What about you?

    1999: first one
2005: seven game series, down 9 middle of the third to a very good Detroit team
2003: DRob retirement, and TD was hurt the next season, as was 0.4
    2007: there was no challenge

2005: Duncan on bad ankles and he still gets us there. From when he went down in Detroit in March, through him raising both trophies, was an incredible ride. And there's nothing better than winning a game 7 on your home floor.

2003: Robinson goes out a Champion.

1999: The first will always be special.

2007: Almost too easy. There was never a doubt that they would win it.

    1. 1999-First one is always the best...
    2. 2005- most underrated series of all time...also cant forget about Game 5 heroics by
    Big Shot Bob
    3. 2003-dethroning the Lakers,Steve Kerr is saviour, Tim Duncan unstoppable,David Robinson retires a champion....
    4. 2007-not a very exciting series but still a championship...still showing Lebron in order to be called King, you gotta have "Gold".

    2008??

    Spurs vs Celtics

-Duncan dominates Garnett, Ginobili wins Finals MVP, and Spurs finally repeat in a 7 game epic historic NBA Finals.....

Why would you want that series to go seven games? The Celtics have beaten us twice, and if we get to the Finals and play the Celtics, we won't have HCA. And getting out of the west will wear down the Spurs. If we get to the Finals, I'll be praying for a huge Eastern Conference upset because I definitely don't want the Spurs playing Boston or Detroit.

But the only thing the Spurs haven't done in the Finals is play without HCA so maybe that's just another stat to put into the Dynasty handbook.

Short memory. Cleveland beat us twice last year...in the regular season.

But Lebron put the Cavs on his shoulders and with some help from his friends, got to the Finals. In the Finals, they couldn't repeat that performance. The 2008 Celtics are a much, much better team than the 2007 Cavs. Comparing the two is just stupid.

2005- Duncan playing injured the whole postseason, leading the Spurs to the le and putting the bad memories of .4 behind them the year before. To me in game 7 pushing through some rough play and being injured to get the job done solidified his legacy as an all time great.

1999- First time was obviously magic, D-Rob gets his ring, Duncan is crowned the next great player, what a year.

2003- TD was off the charts all year long, MVP of the season, played lights out in the playoffs, it was great to send the Lakers packing after the losses to them in the playoffs. Nets made a for a tough finals, they pushed through it well.

2007- A season where they were doubted through most of it mainly because Dallas had beat us the year before and were so great in the Reg season while we were up and down. Playoff time with TD leading the way they stepped up and played like the champs we all knew they were. Finals were too easy, the Cavs were a joke.

All of the championships are great, but what can possibly top the 2003 championship? Dethroning Kobe, Shaq, and Phil after their three straight championships is the greatest accomplishment the Spurs have achieved this decade. I think it was Bill Walton who said in that game "This game will go down as the greatest victory in the history of this Spurs organization" (you know the way he talks), and he's right.

The 1999 one was special, but compared to 2003 , I'd say the 2003 one was slightly more meaningful.

2003 - Dethroning Kobe/Shaq/Phil, watching Kobe cry afterwards
1999 - First one always special
2005 - Outside the Detroit series, this year was cake
2007 - Cake all the way through

2005- Spurs toughest road to the finals... then had to match up against the Pistons in 7 as a plus.
2003- Had the most fun watching this playoff run....
1999- It just showed of what was to come...
2007- Spurs demoralized all the teams.. showed why they still got it

2005 - Definitely the most enjoyable compe ively. This was probably the only Eastern team that was a quality opponent, they definitely could have won the championship against us but we had our good luck charm in Big Shot Rob, to put our team's efforts over the top. Also that team was pretty dominant.

2003 - They did the job in dethroning Kobe-Shaq-Phil. Our team was young, energetic and athletic back then. I miss that!

1999 - It was great seeing sop re Timmy get Drob and co to the promised land and it was a pretty compe ive playoff run.

2007 - had a great first half-playoff Spurs magic feel like the others but after the Suns series it was business as usual==enjoyable because we were notching another le, at the same time, pretty uncompe ive in the last two series.

2-2003-best spurs team ever (for me) and manu winning in his rookie season.
3-1999-the year i became a spurs fan (because of tim and sean)
    4-2007-too easy

Although, I had the least amount of faith in the team winning it all in 2007 due to them never really gelling during the regular season, but the playoffs that year were very anti-climactic.

That's right, because, until they ran into us, Cleveland was a post-season (when it counts) buzz saw, and the Celts ain't done there yet.

Let's wait until we see how it plays out before we start throwing "stupid" around.

    1) 2003 - Probably the Spurs strongest lineup of all the Championships. I just wonder what would have happened if they were able to keep this team intact. Dethroned the 3-peat Lakers, D-Rob going out on top and a very exciting team that could score with anybody.

    2) 2005 - Seven game series between very even teams with a come back win at home. What else can you ask for?

    3) 1999 - First one is always special.

    4) 2007 - Too easy but I'm not complaining.

2003 - Beating that Lakers team and watching Duncan go off for 37-16 was so special... my best time as a Spurs fan because i just knew it was ours after that. Also Duncan has the 21-20-10-8 game and establishes himself as the clear number one player on the panet. Malik Rose' dunk on Mutombo. Seeing D-Rob go out on the ultimate high.

2005 - Toughest series. Watching Manu play like superman and Duncan taking over in the final quarter. Really special

1999 - This ones for D-Rob. The making of Tim Duncan

2007 - The coming out of Tony Parker

    1. 99 Was my favorite of course cuz it was there first. Plus it just so happened to be my Birthday. It was a great day not only for me but every single Spurs fan in San Antonio. I remember the highway was so packed people getting out of there cars just to clap hands.

    2. 03 Would have to be next with that being the last year for the Admiral. I also loved seeing Kobe crying after we smoked them. Can't forget the great Spurs Dallas series.

    3. 05 Was Manu's coming out season. I loved the Finals going 7 games with us at home finishing the journey winning number 3.

    4. 07 It was a good season and everyone doubted us. But I knew we were gonna sweep Lebron and the Cav's. I love the spurs time to drive for 5... GO SPURS GO say it loud and proud.
