Anyone notice this tacked onto the end of ESPN's game highlights? They have a bump called "Race for 8th in the West" that they jokingly lead into. This is how it reads:

6. San Antonio 47-23
7. Dallas 44-26
8. Golden State 42-26 --
9. Denver 41-28 1 1/2
OK I get it, they are using 8 as the bench for the GB measurement, but then why leave Dallas and San Antonio blank? And why include San Antonio when they are clearly 3 full games up on the Mavs and 4 on GSW? I can see that if they are trying to highlight how far Dallas has fallen, but then why not start the GB count at 6? Looks to me like they just wanted to slip San Antonio into this club because some producer is a complete jackass.
We are a game and a half back on LA... why not throw them into the "Race for 8th" and laugh like a ing hyena?
