    Again I ask, how the heck was Avery Johnson allowed to come ALL THE WAY OVER to where the incident took place by the Spurs bench on the floor without getting ejected?! Doesn't that rule that the players can't leave the bench also apply to the coach?

    Nope. Coaches are allowed to go out because they are thought to be able to calm the situation or possibly get comically tossed about.

    In Detroit, less than 2 minutes into the game.
    Took Duncan out for 2 weeks.

    He went down on the same ankle again in the Seattle series that season.
