3 Losses in a row coming for Phoenix.
Here are the top 5 teams schedules, and realistically speaking the only teams that can get the number 1 seed. Looking at the schedule, it looks like LA has the easiest road to the #1 seed. But I think SA has the next best shot at the 2 seed.....anyone else have any opinions?

ooops, I forgot Utah....damn...6 teams fighting for #1 seed....that is unheard of.

3 Losses in a row coming for Phoenix.
Nah, Detroit is playing out the string...they have nothing to play for right now and have dropped 2 straight as evidence of that.
The Rockets and Suns have tough schedules; I can easily see them each dropping 5-6 of their games down the stretch. I think the Hornets go 9-5 or better, and the Lakers go 9-3 or better.
If that plays out, the Spurs would need to go 10-2 or better to finish with a top 2 seed. If they go 9-3, they would finish up seeded # 3 behind NO because of conference records. If they go 8-4, they would probably finish up # 5 with a first-round match up vs Utah. Anything worse than that, we're looking at a low seed and an early exit.
New Orleans has a lot more road games than anyone else, which is why I think their chances are slimmer than our Spurs' chances of staying in top 2.
1)Lakers
2)Spurs
3)Hornets
4)Jazz
5)Suns
6)Warriors
7)Rockets
8)Nuggets
Literally impossible.
Lakers and Warriors go at it again tonight. Not on TV
NBATV.......930 ct time
All I know is that we really need to get a top 3 seed. I would feel very confident about our chances to win the West if that were to happen.
Rockets schedule actually seems pretty easy. The road games are against Clips, Sonics, and Kings.
Lakers should be able to secure that #1 spot.
I actually DON'T want the Spurs to get the #1 seed. Potentially playing the Nuggets in the first round would be very tough.
1. Los Angeles 58-24
2. New Orleans 56-26 (tiebreaker - div. record)
3. San Antonio 56-26 (tiebreaker - div. record)
4. Utah 54-28
5. Houston 56-26
6. Phoenix 54-28
7. Golden State 51-31
8. Denver 50-32 (tiebreaker - season series)
9. Dallas 50-32
Very likely
They defend Shaq really well. I think Detroit wins.

Why is that scenario impossible? I'm not saying that I agree with it, but why couldn't it end that way?
This scenario would be possible if the following happened:
L.A. finished 9-3
San Antonio 9-3
N.O. 8-6
Utah 5-6
Phoenix 8-5
Golden State 9-4
Houston 4-8
Denver 7-5
Dallas 5-7
This is not the ONLY example of showing that this is possible, but it is one that is very reasonable.

I couldn't resist getting the League Pass for the second half of the season. Its unreal how many good games their have been. Phoenix vs Detroit and LA vs Golden State next.
This game is currently on NBAtv
Pistons already beat the Suns tonight
Kings have a chance to beat the Rockets
Warriors have a chance to beat the Lakers
ducks is watching gs vs lakers on tv
I had not considered the possibility that Charlotte would win in LA....what an idiot I am.
