im pretty sure mouse can find you a used one when he does his usual DD![]()
So after staying at a couple fantastic hotels in the past few months, I've decided to buy a new bed, and also decided to invest in some really high quality Italian sheets.
I've looked around and have a few ideas, (for instance thread count isn't as important to me as cotton quality and type of weave) but what is really throwing me is I'm not familiar with any of the brands, so I know nothing about the reputations of the different companies.
In particular, I've found a couple sets made by Sferra. They are from the Rialto Luxury Hotel Collection. Claimed retail is $710.00, but found them at a closeout store for $140.00. I've looked around the web for reviews or product information, but can't seem to find much on them beyond ebay listings.
Does any body know anything more about these, or have other brands they recommend? (or for that matter where to look for them?)
Thanks!

Sorry, not from Italy, but from Egypt 1,000 count. Bed Bath & Beyond, trust me!
yeah i have 2 sets of 1000 count sheets, they're awesome. one from BBY, one from target black friday last year.
^^^ Glad I was right somewhere![]()
Sorry, I'm too stupid to live. Wazz that?
Egyptian cotton is softest, Pima is soft and very durable. Higher the thread count the softer the sheet. But they can also be heavier---I don't do higher than 650ct.
Supposed to be the best Egyptian cotton you can get.
Had a Pink shirt made out of it that was one of the most comfortable shirts I've ever worn. Sferra is now making sheets with it.
Pricey, though.
true. But I can't spend more for the sheets than I can for the bed.
What size bed?
I just dropped 120 on a set of 1000tc at bed bath and beyond...they are awesome, and BBY takes those 20% coupons and they never expire
I'm an expert as to what goes on beneath bed linens.
I was waiting for something like that![]()
AND you can use more than one at a time; AND BBY accepts LNT coupons and vice versa!
Flannel sheets from Big Lots.
20 Bucks.
Send me the balance.
Can't stand flannel. Too ing hot. Especially in Texas!
