Manu's nose fouled me by hitting my elbow
Manu clearly forced the play and tricked his oponent to hit him in the head
The NBA today announced that San Antonio Spurs forward Bruce Bowen will be suspended two games for standing 12 paces behind Ron Artest. "Yeah, you just knew he was gonna do some ," said Artest, "you never see the dirty bas because he's always just outta the picture, but trust me, he's always thinking about it."
Stackhouse: you're a dead man manu.
KT: you're going to have to go through me first.
Refs: so should we call that a foul or not.
Bruce: you better be careful Stackhouse. I think this is the ref that ejected me
Manu: is my head still attached

Kurt Thomas looks on in concern as Manu Ginobilli's head is shoved backwards into the waiting arms of Satan.
and Josh: Damn a GTG and I was not invited?![]()
Bowen really pissed me off. acting like the nerd of the class telling on the teacher. Couldn't you have tried to help Manu instead???
Props to Thomas, he helped out.
Stackhouse: Ugh...Manu make me mad, him too good for me, me go back to cave and wait for call from Geico commercial people.

Bowen just got a 1 game suspension for doing nothing, based on his "reputation". (Stuey said that Bruce's knee "moved in the direction" of another player's head.) The last thing he needed to do was get into a confrontation on the floor. Any motion on his part in the direction of another player, and he could have been lost for another game or two... plus being on even shorter notice going into the playoffs.
The Spurs handled it smart. KT stood over Manu, but didn't make a move towards any of the Mavs players. All of the Spurs coaches formed a wall in front of the players on the bench, making sure that no one accidentally put a toe onto the court. After what happened in Phoenix last year, there are a lot of people who would love an opportunity to demand suspensions for any Spur leaving the bench during an altercation.
You can't blame Bruce for being pissed about what happened to him, ending his streak and all. Yeah, he talked to the refs. But he was careful about how he did it - as he should have been. A lot of times, being smart and keeping cool wins those close, physical games. The Spurs were smart all the way around. And that includes Bowen. Maybe especially Bowen.
Thats what I was laughing about to. He's still pointing
