Ye Celtics
So, okay, I knew about this promotion.
What I didn't know until I watched the Warriors v LOS Lakers (awesome basketball, BTW! So much fun to watch) is that other teams were doing it.
So, it seems like an NBA-wide pro-hispanic promotion to me. Spurs, Lakers, big hispanic markets, but on the same night the Warriors were just the Warriors. Which teams have done the "Los" thing? Will they all? How about "Los Boston"?
Gotta love marketers, they aren't deep but they're bright.

NBA usually does something every year honoring heritage. I think its cool how the past few years they've taken a global marketing campaign. I love it.
Didn't both teams do the Los thing last time we played the Suns?
Yes, Im only aware of the Spurs, Suns and Lakers doing so far.
That confirms my theory that it's aimed at the big hispanic markets. No "Los Bucks" or "Los Magic".
Anyway, just an observation. Interesting.
Los Boston?.
About pro-hispanic promotion, I don't forget our road trip in Europe. The jersey with the French flag.
I don't know why the Spurs hadn't been promoted more in Europe.
Europe isn't a great market for the Spurs? At least, we have Tony! and Manu and Bruce played in european teams.
Hey I " wasssssh " Los Spurs all duh time. Qvo?
Phoenix Suns were "los putos"
2 funny
Or the Lakers could have simply gone with,
"Los Angeles"
oh wait.....
You mean La Fria?
NBA should have done Da Bulls and Fahckin Celts.
Si no esta caliente.![]()
pero estoy!
Last year they did the hispanic heritage with 4 teams, Spurs, Lakers, Suns and one other team I can't remember. They had the piping on the uniforms with little flags of all the latin origin countries that are in the NBA. Not as noticable as LOS SPURS right on the front of the uni. Guess they decided to step it up a notch this year where more people would notice.
The McCeltics...
