Werner Hetzel once hit 9998 straight free throws in an exhibition.
Damn I'm going to jinx him with this thread...
I just had some questions. What is the streak up to now? I think it's around 35+ now.
What's the record anyway?
Werner Hetzel once hit 9998 straight free throws in an exhibition.
scola streak is great he is greater then manu
just ask scola fans here
The world record is 5,221 by Ted St. Martin, the Guinness world record holder. He did this on April 28, 1996.
with all due respect, i think this thread calls for:

he's doing just fine.
thank you very much.
lol I didnt even know he was on a streak, now its guaranteed to end tonight, thanks alot
James White!
Not that they showed it on ABC what the streak was yet I forgot the number. You morons who say I'm jinxing him obviously didn't watch the game, with all due respect.![]()
97 is the record. Micheal Williams did it when he played on Minnesota. I think he broke Mark Prices record, if I remember correctly, who had broken Calvin Murphy's record.
Manu needs 71 more, I think![]()
What is the Spurs record?
Current streak is between 35 and 39. It depends on when he missed his free throw during the PHX game.
To fully participate in the jinx, Manu missed his 5th FTA in the Phoenix game -- his last attempt.
he'll miss the first one tonight dedicated to y'all!
IF Manu missed the last FT against Phoenix then the streak is on 35.
Yeah I had realized after my original post that it's a stupid thing but oh well, I take it back.
7 of 7 tonight.
37 in a row.
someone said its at 42 in teh game blog
Yea its at 42.
Yes, it is at 42. He missed the final technical free throw with 5:03 remaining in the 4th quarter in the Phoenix game, so the streak began with his first free throw against Denver. Since that miss he has gone 4-4, 1-1, 0-0, 5-5, 8-8, 4-4, 2-2, 11-11, and 7-7 in tonight's game. Pretty impressive.![]()
He'll reach 62.
I think he'll go as far as 273
