(There's a video you can watch at this link.)

David “The Admiral” Robinson is known as one of the top centers of his era. He was on the team that won the gold in the 1986 FIBA World Championship. Robinson is a three-time Olympian, the only U.S. male to be named to three teams, who competed at the 1988, 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. The U.S. National Team won a bronze medal in the 1988 Games, and gold medals in the 1992 and 1996 Games. He was a member of the Dream Team in Barcelona.

His basketball career covers many domestic feats as well. Robinson was a ten-time NBA All-Star. In 2001, he was awarded the NBA Sportsmanship Award and was named one of the 50 Greatest NBA Players in history.
