You are an idiot.
WTF??? You whine and just 3 days ago how bad the Spurs are and now, you are saying that they will be undefeated.

let's just hope this isn't just some fluke run that he's on

You do know we're in the West, right?
but will they no, because Finley will come down to earth
and I guarantee every game he has like this in the post season is an auto W for the Spurs
doesn't matter, Duncan will be unstoppable in the post season like always, Manu will stay being the most clutch player in the NBA, and Parker just needs to keep playing smart
Spurs then won't lose a game
...ya, No.
It wasn't last year, so I doubt it would be this year.
But yes, when Finley shoots well the Spurs are a very very tough team to beat.
I have all the confidence in the world that he will shoot well, he steps his game up for the playoffs, he has proven that in the past 2 years hes played for this team.
You need to share some of your lithium with him.
Agreed but I don't think this is a fluke. Though he has had his off games here and there overall he has been been on much more than off. The Spurs have relied on him to be the finisher many a game this year and he has come through. My concern is that Pop doesn't wear him out. I think his needs to continue ot come off the bench and that goes for the beginning of the second half. It seems to me that when he starts the second half he runs out of gas late in the 4Q which is where we need him the most.
So then you won't turn into whiny mode if the Spurs lose today with Finley playing well?
I would be shocked if the Spurs lose if Finely plays like he has the past couple games
Eh - never mind - totally spaced out on this one - I was thinking about Manu and not Finley so my comments are irrelevant. I'm sure others will have more graphic descriptions as to what I was thinking.
As for Finley if he continues this type of play it will definitely bode well for the Spurs. This will only help our spacing and let TD do his damage down low.
But undefeated?? I doubt that seriously but it would be acious if that happened.
Pretty much same is true for Bruce. He plays a lot of minutes for his defense, but is mostly absent on offense (and on RBs). Offense is 4 on 5. When Bruce chips in 12 - 15 points or more , Spurs usually win.
With the Big 3 scoring their averages, it still takes some pts from the other guys to win. Our D hasn't been shutdown enough at all. I hope they remember how to play D in the playoffs.

If every Spur plays the best games they ever played, then the Spurs will not lose a game the rest of the year, including the playoffs.

+1
Somebody lost his bottle of meds.
Spurs will get at least 60 ppg in the playoffs out of the big 3.
Spurs probably need to average at least 95ppg in the playoffs to win it.
It would helpful if the big three bump up their production to closer to 70ppg in the playoffs, but otherwise we need something like 30-35ppg from the rest.
Everyone outside the big 3 and Finley will be unlikely to give us more than 10ppg individually, so that does put some pressure on the rest of the team. With Barry, the margin for error in scoring, outside the big 3, was much better.
Finley scoring well is definitely helpful. It doesn't matter if it is finely or if Udoka and another player, like Vaghn or Oberto is scoring around 10 as well.
umm undefeated no
hard to beat definantly
i think in order for any team to win a championship you have to have at least 3 or so guys who have exemplary games throughout the playoffs who arent really counted on for giving them.
see finley last year against denver going 8-9 from 3 or something like that or barry playing strong against phoenix a couple years back.
Manic mofo.
this type of threads will lead the spurs to a first round exit
is that you, big Z?
SD21, posting a positive thread!?
He's becoming almost as bipolar as that candy76 poster.

I think the rest and team practice did help Finley during the latter March sked.
He's just shooting some shots![]()
We won't go undefeatedThat's laughable. But when Finley is scoring, the Spurs are really really tough to beat. Last year, when he was shooting well and scoring for the Spurs as a fourth option, we went 16-4 in the playoffs.
