Kobe just went down with an ankle injury against the Cavs. Didn't look good; he had to be carried off the court after being down for several minutes.

Ankle injuries are notoriously painful right away. It could only be a handful of games that he'd miss. Stay tuned for the next few days.

For a serious ankle sprain, out for 2-3 weeks easily.
During which time, LA might play very well, completely negating Kobe's importance.
