Oberto was 4 of 4 today, and played good team ball. He's not chopped liver either.
Scola is doing pretty much what I thought he would in the NBA except he's rebounding better than anyone thought he could.

What people don't seem to understand is just because Scola is a fit for the Rockets doesn't mean he would be the same player in S.A.
I doubt that Pop would have given him Oberto/Elson's starting job this season. Therefore, he'd be on the bench fighting for minutes and not having much time to produce. With the Rockets, he gets plenty of opportunities, which he may not have had in S.A.
Just be happy for Scola that he has a chance and get over it.

The only reason some people keep mentioning Scola is because losing him hurts... even after so many months. I know, i know... whats done is done... but still.
I've been against the Scola trade but this wasn't the game to point at as Scola being a good player. The Spurs were going right at him and scoring almost every time. Putting up points in a blowout loss while getting scored on repeatedly and simultaneously having the worst +/- on your team isn't exactly a great accomplishment.
Scola has played a lot better. This was actually one of the worst games I've seen him play this year.
