Landry landed on Manu's ankle. It looked pretty ugly but Manu kept playing. Hopefully Manu won't have to miss any games.
Can anybody tell me what happened to manu when they played the Rockets because they said he was limping off the court. Supposely, I record the game but it did not record.

He played right through it. But in the 4th quarter when he was on the bench, he seemed a little concerned. Hopefully he can shake it off. The Spurs need a healthy Manu (and Tim ... and Tony ... and Bruce ... and ...)
yeah, that was a downer to a great day.,But in the 4th quarter when he was the bench, he seemed a little concerned
I remember him untying his shoes....
Just to add to what has already been said, Manu was going to the basket and came down on Landry's foot and twisted the ankle. Then Landry fell on the back of Manu's foot.
I thought he had some problems with his arm. I noticed they had his arm all iced up in the 4th quarter.
I try to keep in mind Manu is a sensitive dude and hope it's not anything more than just sore.
It was also iced during the end of the Minnesotta game. I hope Manu is ok.
Manu ices a lot. I almost always see him icing his arms/shoulders/knees late in games.
But the ankle incident looked ugly.
wouldn't be shocked if he missed tuesday's game
hopefully it's just minor like the other times. He seemed to play through it pretty well today.
Cortisone shot and a full day off should do the trick.
we need a healthy pop.
His injury kind of looked like Dirk's injury, he twisted it and Landry also landed on it a bit..a lot less severe than Dirk's though. If it swells up tomorrow, I think Manu will take a few games off just to make sure he's healthy for the Playoffs.
Manu will be fine I think. It didn't look to bad, and they left him in the game while the team was up big. If it were serious, knowing Pop, they would have pulled him out quickly. It seemed like it didn't bother him to much on the court. He was being Manu like always. Two days of rest (since they played early today) plus a bit of treatment should do the trick. Manu is tough player...Go Spurs Go! Drive for 5ive!!!
If it was really serious, wouldn't Pop keep him on the bench for the remainder of the game? I started watching the game a bit late, in the third quarter. Manu did a solid job in the second half...I didn't even know anything had happened...but I have a hard time imagining that Pop would still let him play if it was really bad...Plus, the Spurs were up by like 20 pts in the fourth quarter, Manu was still in the game...
Any recent news about it though?
I'm sure it's nothing too serious as you guys saw him playing in the game. Sometimes, you gotta keep playing or else it swells up like crazy...ie walk it off. He did look a little bit uncomfortable at the end.
We'll hear about it tomorrow but there's been no news coverage, nobody mentioning anything, Manu's probably going to be a gamer and play through it.
Manu once got hit by a Firetruck that was going 70 mph when it collided straight into his rib cage. He used his own blood to cover up the scuffed paint.
Ditka thread material.
With the way Finley and the others have been playing I wouldn't mind if we just shut Manu down for the next game or two.
