My vote would go to Nick Young. I think this guy is an overlooked talent because he plays on WAS, but when he is playing well he really reminds of a young Kobe out there. I think he went #17 or so in the draft too, great pickup for WAS.

Carl Landry and Luis Scola. Kevin Durant is starting to impress me as of late as he isn't jacking up as many stupid shots as he was. Oden's stupidity has impressed me as he played pick-up basketball and lost. Almost wasting millions.

yes fantasy player, which is also translates to good NBA player well atleast how I pick them: he scores points, rebounds, gets steals and blocks and even though there is probably no chance of the spurs ever getting him I think if he were available in the future I would like the spurs to make an offer to him

Durant. He's putting up solid rookie numbers despite being the only respectable player on that team. Plus he's dealing with the trauma of knowing he's going to have to play in craptastic OKC.

Yeah, but Scola is rookie in name only. He has plenty of years playing against professionals, thats not really what we mean when we say "rookie".

If Paul Pierce went to some Euro-league, should he be under consideration for "rookie of the year"?

^^That was my point, Scola has been playing against NBA compe ion in the Olympics before he came to the Rockets so I can't really consider the guy a rookie in the same regard as say Durant.

Durant is finally starting to play better, exhibiting better shot selection. He was the #1 option on that team. Al Horford and Luis Scola look good. At this point, just replace every Chuck Norris reference on the Internet with Luis Scola.

I'll go with Horford. Dude had franchise big written all over him coming out of Florida (while Noah had bust )

Durant will of course be the best player of all of them, but he's what? 20? Scola's been much better than expected also.

Spencer Hawes has actually impressed me alot. The kid is immensely talented; he has nearly every offensive skill imaginable. He has a very strong post game, his passing is very impressive almost Weber quality, his ball handling is on par with most small forwards in the game, he can even step out and hit the trey. His man on defense is weak but his shot blocking has been surprising. He can be a future star.

Kevin Durant for his talent and natural way to lead a team, future Super Star
Luis Scola (*) for translating his FIBA's game to NBA's arena.

(*) he's been pro for 10 years abroad, ok?
