We can't afford to lose any game...have you seen the remaining schedule? It's clear that we will drop 2 or 3 places

Can't afford to "tank" a game in this conference. If Spurs had top seed locked, then why not? They would probably not be playing the big 3 anyway. Unfortunatly Spurs can't lose games on purpose.

no. The Mavs would still be tough for us but they are digging their own grave. They don't need any help from the Spurs.

Last year, the Mavs rested their starters on the final game of the season, allowing Golden State to get into the playoffs. The rest is, history.

Dirk seems like a good guy maybe if he was 10 years older he could be a Spur.

Spurs don't want to play Warriors in the first round, their homecourt during the playoffs is freakin' amazing. Add to that, streaky teams like the Warriors are dangerous as .

Mavs with an 80% Dirk or Rockets or Jazz are the best first round oponents in my opinion.

Again. Why do peeps think we're a bad matchup for GS? They were better last year than this year, and we beat them by 40 and 37 points.

If you have a serious post scorer, you can beat GS in the playoffs.

    Sincerely
    Utah and SA

    Dear San Antonio Spurs

I do not recommend you meet B-Diddy, Captain Jack and Monta in the first round of the playoffs. They are not a good matchup for you this year.

Spurs vs Warriors 2008: 0 wins, 2 losses

ps. I didn't say anything about the Jazz, I think Warriors are a favorable matchup for Jazz.

Hah, if you like tempting fate, feel free to.

I'd think the Spurs would do much better against Houston or a gimpy Dirk in the first round but I suppose we'll see.

i'm watching the suns-nuggetts game and i've come to a conclussion. I want to face denver in the playoffs. their defense sucks, they can't hit a 3, their offense it's just a one on one game (sometimes is iverson and sometimes is anthony) and they are just a bunch of dumb guys playing together with 0 bbIQ. they win games in the regular season just becase they're very physically gifted but they aren't a serious threat for a le contender.

That's the beauty of the packed Western conference. We still have time to tank into the lottery, improve in the draft, and come back next year better than ever!
