Off with his Spurs!
... to the Princess for not coming through on the Round Tables. I talked trash like I was going to be the next Stephen A. Smith ... but alas, I only did only a satisfactory job. It's not as easy with those damn cameras pointing right in your face and the lights shining down. I thought I was going to be Stephen Jackson in game six of the Finals, but I turned out to be Hedo Turkoglu versus the Lakers.
I tried.![]()

Damn....you made me spit.![]()
I would consider failing to be Stephen A. Smith to be a success.
Maybe your expertise leans toward the print/web media? As you do a avu job on the grades etc.
Anyway, give em the next time - I am sure you were great! :![]()
timvp was actually good. He's just being modest. Nobody is perfect on these things; this is the third season that I've been doing them on and off and I still mess up.
He does join forces with Peter Burns to gang up on me, but I end up with revenge on Pete at the end.![]()
Man, I've never seen myself on camera. I don't want to watch this.
But the Princess is making me.

You did fine for the first time timvp. If you want advice, here's my suggestion:
Next time don't "lean back" when making your comments/arguments. Put your arms on the desk and use your hands some as you talk. Also try not to look downward while you're talking. If nothing else, these things will project that you have more confidence in what you're saying and give the viewer more reason to listen to your argument/opinion.
Not saying your viewpoints were wrong. Just offering advice on presenting those viewpoints with more authority.
I'm sure you'll get better as you go. Props for doing it!
PS...if you don't believe me, just watch Jason. The guy REALLY projects confidence visually and with his manner of speaking and it tends to make you think, "wow, this guy really knows his stuff." But when you dig deep into what he's saying, you find you're able to pick apart his logic and arguments often. And you'll find that his homerism prevents him from making accurate assessments of other teams more often than not. He does a really great job of presentation, though. He's getting better at stifling the homerism, but Rob is still way ahead in objectivity. They are absolutely hilarious together, though, and are by far the best thing we have going locally. Very entertaining.

Wow, The Princess, Peter Burns and Timvmp in a three-way. thats hot!
Nice job to all. Fairly entertaining banter. I liked the mix of personalities and there wasn't as much talking over each other (cannot be avoided completely) as in a couple of the others I've seen.
Quote of the year:
Didn't Bob Sura have a couple of triple doubles last year?
"He played for the Hawks"
I laughed my ass off when he said that...
Other than that I don't know where to start with all the crap I heard...
But how can you call a guy averaging seven assists a game a ball hog?
What mistakes did Thompson make? On there radio show they mess up names all the time, its like their Schtick.
He kept saying Steve Christie....
I liked the Special F/X best. The underlining and boldfacing on the pages with the numbers was really well done.
lol, i wasnt paying attention. What happens is I watch it and zone out and start watching TV. I'll see it again and hear what Alzheimers Thompson says.
On the second one, Thompson didn't ask LJ's take on most improved player, so Kori started to ask him but it was too late.Oh well...
There are several in Seattle who are much-improved, year over year. In fact, their top 7 rotation are playing like they had new CPUs and memory installed over the summer. (Allen, Lewis, Radmanovic, Ridenour, Evans, Daniels and Fortson)
Timvp was right on.
Kori, you trade Rasho for anything right now, just to get his next few years off the payroll so the Spurs can move on.
Next.
I'd agree with that!
It was good ElJay. Give yourself a Kluby brother!
Did somebody say...KLUBY?

I disagree, I thought Kori had the best takes of anyone on the show and pretty much ruled ass. She also was the only one who seemed rational...Good luck to the men on that show finding their balls again, because Sheila pretty much ripped them off with her takes,, and made the guys look like they need emotional counseling.
I agreed with just about everything she said...specifically on the subject of Rasho...I mean, trade him for who exactly? At what price? Get a grip...
...and also on the subject of the TWolves being in decline....
The TWolves, while they may pose a danger once in the playoffs...are not even compe ive with the lower level playoff teams in the NBA right now...Cassell and Spree are getting older, and they are disgruntled on top of it. I do think they probably will make the playoffs, but it's not a sure bet right now by any stretch...they are dropping games to the Hornets and Bobcats.
And as for TimVP's presentation , his presentation seemed fine to me, especially for someone who was doing it for their first time. At worst he just seemed more laid back than anyone else...But his wife schooled him on basketball takes, my advice is to concentrate on that area more.
if TIMVP was anymore laid back, hed be in a coma.more laid back
I agree with timvp. Rasho is the center of all the problems. To many players have to make up for the weakness of the center position.
But he played well tonight, I bet next game, he will be Casper.
