I got a Wii before Easter and picked up Zelda and Mario Galaxy. I haven't played Zelda yet cause of Wii Sports and Mario. If you like previous Mario game then you should pick up Galaxy. Resident Evil 4 looks awesome but I haven't played it yet.

Agreed, it's the only game my wife absolutely loves... it's the most heavily played game at my house between the 3 of us. It's the best game out there right now in my mind for the wii.

For a Wii, the must have is a 4 year old child. That way once you get bored of the Wii and it's gimmicks after a good 45 minutes, you can let your kid have it and you can go get a 360 or PS3.

you have nothing if u don't have super smash bros...that said, if you're an adult, you may enjoy the 360 more...the only reason i have a Wii is for super smash bros, everything else is on my 360, orange box, h3, assassin's creed, GoW, forza, etc etc etc

i tried to play the wii once...it was the wariocraft game and then the sport pack...it was the perfect atmosphere

You must have Mario Galaxy, that's probably the best game I've played on the Wii so far. Though I love playing the old school Nintendo games that you can download off the virtual console. Playing Super Mario 3 made me feel like a kid again, it was awesome.

Also Mario Kart Wii comes out this month on the 27th with the Wii Wheel, so that should be pretty effin' awesome too! Can't wait!

Add in Wii Sports (comes with the system).

I bought Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

It ing sucks. Its like a dumbed-down version of Street Fighter only with less skill and more button mash. SSBB blows balls. I have tried playing it 4-8 times now, every time with a fresh mind and perspective, and you know what? It still ing sucks.

it's basically the same concept. nothing really new besides using the wiimote and nunchuk. it's an awesome game.
