this is what the playoffs will look like if they started today; and honestly, id be happy if this is how they end up; except maybe id rather the warriors beat out the nuggets for that eighth spot - they seem to have that giant-killer instinct in them come playoff time..

Houston needs to drop down to the 8 seed on purpose, they own the Hornets, and they will not have a chance against Utah w/o HCA.
top to bottom, go warriors/nuggets, spurs, suns, and rockets.

I was noticing how awesome the setup in the west is, and I hope it holds out (don't care who between nuggets and warriors get the 8th seed though).
Houston has HCA.
They play Houston in Utah and Houston willl not win that game, that will give them both the same record, but Utah will have season series and thus the tie breaker, if they match records the rest of the season.
As I said, Houston will fair better as the 8 seed because of their domination of New Orleans this year.
Cleveland and Washington played each other 5 times? Must be nice to be in the East.
They only play 4 games against each other at most...that is a mistake.
This bracket only guarantee a first round exit for the Spurs.
The only sure thing in this bracket is Phoenix being blown out of the water by LA in Rd 1.

Spurs Mavs Lakers and Suns all together...that sucks.
As of today, the Spurs road to the Finals could be the Mavs in round 1, followed by the Lakers or Suns, then the Hornets or Jazz, with their reward being the Celtics or Pistons in the Finals.

1st Round Nuggets
2nd Round Jazz or Rockets
3rd Round Take it like a man whoever it is but you've dodged 4 very good teams in the 1st two rounds and they'll be tired when they get to you.
And what sucks is it's going to the ing Hornets most likely.
