Still can't act his way out of a paper bag, but he hooked up to the right part and the rest is for the history books. By the way, his singing is worse.
This guy's gone from doing Priceline commercials and some guy named Leonard elbows him out...and the next thing you know, he's winning a Golden Globe.

it's his schtick...btw..i assume that GG was for supporting actor in Boston Legal. He and James Spader are the reasons why I watch that show. "Denny Crane."
Both are hilarious. In an episode a couple of weeks ago..you could have seen Shatner singing a christmas tune.
That's not schtick...that's just bad acting. Denny Crane is the perfect role for Shatner, a sniveling weasel. t...Patrick Stewart ain't even on the boob-tube and he's ten times the actor and Captain Shatner was...that's just not right.it's his schtick...
Probably one of the best Twilight Zone episodes "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet".
He is entertaining to enough people who like his acting. He has created a signature style all his own. He is parodied, he is mocked...and it is just a testament to his craft.
