Come on Spurs, keep it in your hands.
Lakers will be fighting Sunday to win the WC and WC HCA.
What will the Spurs be fighting for? Does Pop even care?

oh and dallas lost tonight to
Mavs are pretty much still stuck in 7th.
Tough time to have Gino go down. There is no predictability. None.
It's amazing to realize just how much is going to depend on all those games played the final day of the regular season. After almost 82 games, nothing is set in stone in the Western Conference.
yeah but houston did not have ming for over 20 or so games
bad timing for manu to go down but atleast he will come back unlike ming
Lakers still without Bynum
Hahah no kidding. It's like you play the whole game and all of a sudden, you're stuck in a 5 minute overtime to win it
Tomorrow's game is HUGE. Somebody has to go home with 26 losses...Spurs might drop to #5, Lakers are protected at #3.
Plus Houston has to go play in Denver who just lost tonight. So Denver has a must win game tomorrow and Houston must win it to grab the #1/#2 seed. I don't know what tiebreakers the Hornets hold.

we're missing Manu, Horry and Barry
Lakers missing Bynum
going to be a tough one...i'm hoping finley has a good shooting night
What a bizarre turn;
1 LA 55 25
2 NO 55 25
3 SA 54 25
5 HOU 54 25
IF SA WINS and Rockets win, a very strange situation: rockets would be tied for1st in record, AND would have HCA over 3 and 4 seed (at this point), but could not move up in the standings because we have the tiebreak with them, and would still be 5th!
1 NO 55 25
2 SA 55 25
3 LA 55 26
4 UT 53 27
5 HOU 55 25
If we lose and Rockets lose, we stay about the same, and beating utah makes a huge difference.
1. LA 56 25
2 NO 55 25
3 SA 54 26
4 UT
5 HOU 54 26
If we lose to Lakers and Rockets win, we sink..far, and if ph ties us, we sink to 6!
1 LA 56 25
2 NO 55 25
3 HO 55 25
4 UT
5 SA 54 26
wow
1st game of a b2b without Manu, I don't see Pop playing starters in the 4th qtr.
Warriors win tonight, to tie up the Nuggets for the 8th spot.
Absolute lunacy.
You never know, Manu might just show up at Staples suited up to play.
I'm pretty sure he accompanied the team on the trip to Los Angeles.

Thanks for the schedule boutons...looks like the Rockets have a very bad time coming up.
The Hornets might have a bad time at the Mavs but the Mavs don't have anything to play for so they might just sit the Starters.
Spurs will play their starters as much as they have to in winning against the lakers, I think.
We can play our bench more during the next game, and we only have one more game after that, so f it. We can rest for afew days between the last game and the playoffs this weekend.
Not having Gino makes this win pretty far fetched, but we can still hope.
if the Spurs could win out, Dallas beat the Hornets on wednesday ( I know aint happenin)
The Spurs could get the first spot.
Un fing real.
Then you'd have to root for the Warriors to get that spot
Then you could root for winner of Jazz Rockets, and if the Rockets won that series...
Nah, nothing ever lines up right for the Spurs.
Denver is on a tough b2b
Rockets
Sun @Den --- win
Mon @UTA (BAD! B2B) --- lose
Wed Clips --- win
I see Timaios, that's a hard schedule...but maybe the Jazz game might be easy.
The Jazz have nothing to gain by winning that game, they might sit out their starters. I don't know what Coach Sloan does at the end of the season.
So what we've learned here is that this log-jam is all because of....
The Inter-Scolactic Phenomenon![]()

Kind of how I see it too......

Here's the tiebreak story: (through games of 4/12)
Lakers vs. Hornets: Lakers own.
Lakers vs. Spurs: depends on Sunday's game.
Lakers vs. Rockets: Rockets own.
Hornets vs. Spurs: Hornets own.
Hornets vs. Rockets: Hornets own.
Spurs vs. Rockets: Spurs own.
So after 79 games, all we know is that the Spurs can finish as high as 1 and as low as 6. Bah!
I think the same can be said for all these teams.
