    sorry to make this a whole new thread, but if the spurs and rockets tie, its determined by conference record, and if thats tied, then division record right?

    No, it's head-to-head record first, and that's tied. Then, since the Rockets and Spurs are in the same division, it's division record. The Spurs would win any tiebreak scenario on division record.

    Bottom line: the Spurs own the tiebreak against the Rockets. In fact that is the ONLY tiebreak they own, they've lost all the other ones against teams they could tie.
