Gems from the Wizards announcers tonight (paraphrasing):
The Spurs are 30-9; with a win tonight they will be off to a franchise best record after 41 games.
(after Devin Brown's last 3 pointer) The Spurs have missed only 3 3-pointers tonight. They are now 12 of 16.
Additionally, the first thing I heard out of one announcers mouth when I tuned in the game in the second quarter [EDIT: second half]was that Tony Parker is in a contract year and that he is negotiating for Gilbert Arenas type money.
Just goes to show, you are never too old to not do your homework.

I heard the comment about the three-point shooting as well.
But I'm pretty sure that the remarks about TP's contract were that he was asking (past tense) for Arenas money. I didn't get any sense that they thought this was in the future.
180 for me - they explicitly stated TP was playing for a contract.
