I'm not sure. I think last year it was announced on February 2nd and the All-Star Game was February 15th.BYW, whens the deadline for coaches to be decided?

How could a coach like him, possibly do that.
I mean, according to some, he can barely talk and walk at the same time.
I'd like to see Pop get in all the All-starters' faces and bench them for not playing good defense and making harlem-globetrotter plays!!
Most likely scenario:
Pop huddles West All Stars up with 6 minutes left in the game. Score is West 122 East 112.
"Okay, Kevin and Tim, we are going to go with 4 down every trip....but let's e it up a bit and Ticket...you and Timmy trade off each posession at the 4. Come on, now. Let's have some fun."
First thing I would hope Pop would do, is put Tony Parker on the all star team.
He deserves it big time.
Hopefully Brent Barry is in the 3 point shootout, hes rounding into shape right now.
Pop will run high-low with Tim at the high post throwing an alley to Garnett (ala Robinson).

it is 10 days or a week before the as game deadline
Pop can't "put" TP on the team any more than any other coach.
Subs utes are chosen by vote of all the coaches.
