I like Tony but we all know he got that finals MVP because the Cavs were just awful. If that was a tough series it would have been Timmy collecting his 4th MVP easy. Tony played well against a mediocre team.

if he put up 32 and 11 and 2 steals in one turnover against boston in finals tp would get the finals mvp period
Oh he did for sure, Tony was awesome in games 1 and 2 he earned the finals MVP, i am just saying it was against a bad team.

I'll say this about TP - he seems like a pretty humble guy. Met him at The Palace a few years ago (still have his autograph on a paper towel.) It was after a sons game and he torched Nash (don't remember his stats.) I told him that he owned Nash and he was sort of taken back. He said "No, no - Nash is a very, very good player."

And he played well throughout the playoffs, not just against the mediocre Cavs. He scored over 20 points a game in 11 playoff games, and scored 30+ in 2 games vs Phoenix.
Yeah and if i go down to 7-11 tomorrow i might hit the win for life ticket and retire, what's your point???
Duncan would get finals MVP in that series because if he did not play at a dominant level Spurs would lose to the Celtics regardless of what Tony did.
