Only if the Spurs had Scola, he would have had 18 pts in the first AND second half.
yes he had a fantastic game against a weak Kings team that the Spurs should have beat easily, but after he had that 18pt 1st half against the Lakers and didn't bother to show up in the second half, there is cause for concern. THe fact that the Lakers decided to adjust to him in the 2nd half and he couldn't do about it is a scary thought
Only if the Spurs had Scola, he would have had 18 pts in the first AND second half.
None of the Spurs got going in the second half of the Lakers game. Lakers did a great job adjusting and played good defense. I agree that Parker needs to step up because the offense starts with him. But Lets see what the team does in the second halves, and most importantly 4th quarters of the playoffs.
Some day, some Spurs fans are going to realize that their unending criticisms of Tony Parker are ridiculous and that we've actually had it really good to have this guy playing for our team because the Spurs don't win without him.
Some day. . . .
kori, is it possible to take off 'spursdynasty21's signature? i think it falls under the signatures you were talking about a while back, being way too big, not to mention its STILL complaining about something that happened 8+ months ago, and can't be changed...
if the Spurs had kidd, they win the le in 04 and 06
if the Spurs have Scola, they will win the next 25 les.
shut the f up debbie downer attention Scola knob-slobbing son of a .
no way!
you are an embarrassment to the name 'spurs dynasty', and the number '21'
a Spurs Jason Kidd nutsucker! I didn't know they made those.
Parker tears up the Lakers in GM1/2, then they adjust to him, and is a joke for the next 4 games
Kidd would have made Hedo stay in SA and the Spurs would have been much more sound offensively
kidd can't shoot if his life depended on it.
and kidd would have tried to have had POP fired within one year.
Kidd in 04 = MVP type player, in 06 he still was damn good
obivously now in 08 he not as good
Lakers adjusted? By having Pop play Vaughn?
By the time Vaughn got done it was too late for a comeback.
***sorry -- I'm obviously still on my anti-vaughn rampage. It's been building for so long.

Vaughn is garbage, nothing to be ashamed of
watching him take a shot makes everyone cringe
You are the worst kind of Spurs "fan". Tony Parker has 3 rings at the age of 25, and you're criticizing him. He's obviously doing something right. And whatever it is, it's a of a lot better than you will ever be at anything you do in your life.
+1, then +2, then +3, then +4
1st of all, he plays with the greatest PF of all time, the rings are a givin
2nd of all, you could say the same thing about Parker and yourself, and I'm pretty happy with what I do and would never in my life change it, even to be an NBA player
he did his fair share of work to earn those rings, and sure did a of a job to earn that finals mvp
that finals MVP was joke
Duncan had better games in GM1/2, he just didn't avg. more points, in Gm3/4 Duncan had off nights on scoring (15-16pts) but was still a monster on the D end
in a 4 game sweep, it's easy for someone to steal the MVP
So...what's it like bobbing on Scola's pecker all day long?
Parker, and the Spurs, could sweep through the toughest Western Conference in memory, then sweep the Finals for their 5th, and you'd still find plenty to about.
Try telling that to John Stockton, or any of Barkley's and Garnett's teammates. Even though those three are not at the level of Duncan, Garnett came no where close to a championship, it takes somebody as great as Stockton to help Malone get to the finals, and Barkley needed Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle to get to the finals.
Individual talent gets you no where, team play does. (or Scola)
I have total confidence in Tony's abilities. Yes, I'm sure he'll have an off night or two as ALL professional athletes do. I'm still glad he's our point guard. I got your back Tony!!
