the 2W-L formula is the best simple predictor for who will win the Cy Young Award in baseball.
You can say that again.
Without being called Captain Obvious here, I would point out that the games played is uneven (skewed by playoff advances).
3307 points when you use the 47W-L formula.
I actually prefer the scientific and mathematical accuracy of this formula:
SQRT((37.354W-.674L)^2).
2631.914 points.
