Top to bottom? Probably not. The best conference is the AFC, but the best team just happened to be from the NFC.
Since the Giants won the Super Bowl does that make the NFC the better conference?
My answer is no.

no conference in the NFC is the best in the NFL. I say this:
AFC South
AFC North
NFC East
In the draft for this year...
Top 10 which is the top 10 worst teams of course...
AFC has 6
NFC has 4
Bottom 10 which is the best and keep in mind I am counting the forfeit from the Pats
AFC 5
NFC 5
Take into account I considered trades from ORIGINAL teams so the conference who's slot was traded is counted. I counted the 49'rs at 7, Indy at 29.
Obviously the NFC is better numbers wise and they also have the champion.
Can a conference with a 8-8 playoff team be considered a good conference?
I don't think so.
So you rest everything on one team?
Ok...well then a conference that doesn't win the superbowl isn't good.
AFC contains the biggest chokers in NFL History, the New England Patriots.
NFC > AFC
The NFC. The AFC has good teams and horrid teams with no mediocre teams. The NFC has only a couple really bad teams and the rest has a lot of parity. the NFC has had a winning record in cross-conference matchups for at least the last 2 years, IIRC. The parity in it makes it more fun to watch.
