pfft, SPURS all the way no matter how bad the odds are against
We got a lot of the S.A. sports media on ESPN 1250 this afternoon to pick the series.
Here are the results...
PAUL ALEXANDER, ESPN 1250.............Spurs in 7
DREA AVENT, KABB...........................Spurs in 6
BARRY BESSE, KKNT 960 (Phoenix).......Spurs in 7
DAVID CHANCELLOR, News 4...............Spurs in 7

DYROL JOYNER, KENS-5.....................Spurs in 6
LOGAN, 550 Underground....................SUNS in 7

GREG SIMMONS, KSAT-12...................Spurs in 6
BILL TAYLOR, KENS-5.........................SUNS in 6
Of course, I expect to receive a load of crap for my pick, but I had to honestly call it how I see it. I want nothing more than to be wrong. I'm a huge Spurs HOMER, but I think that Karma + Shaq + Kerr + Offensive Inconsistency + Suns Better Than Last Year + No Horry + Vast NBA Conspiracy spells doom for our beloved Spurs.
KENS-5's weatherman Bill Taylor, who also wants the Spurs to win but picked the Suns, said that any local sportscaster who picks the Spurs in Seven secretly thinks the Suns will win the series.
As always: Go Spurs Go!
I just have a bad feeling about this series.

pfft, SPURS all the way no matter how bad the odds are against
Reggie and Charles both picked Spurs in 7 this morning on Dan Patrick show.
I agree.but I think that Karma + Shaq + Kerr + Offensive Inconsistency + Suns Better Than Last Year + No Horry + Vast NBA Conspiracy spells doom for our beloved Spurs.
That's something completely intangible. If anything has payed off in the past, it's the hard work and dedication by the entire Spurs organization. Anyways, if "karma" has any part of this, the Spurs will win again and the collective bunch of desert pussies will cry foul for another year.
It's a 7 game series. If (by chance) Pop still hasn't figured out a decent defensive gameplan for him, there are many other factors that silence his game. Early foul trouble, for example.+ Shaq
The second-most accurate 3-pt shooter in the history of the league is retired.+ Kerr
If the last couple of games vs PHX is any indication of what the Spurs' offense will look like, they yes they are in deep trouble. I seriously doubt they score 11 points in the 4th quarter to close out 4 out of 7 games.+ Offensive Inconsistency
Since the Shaq trade, the Suns are 21 - 13. Before the trade, they had the best record in the West at 34 - 14 (Although Shaq can make any team better, except the 2007-2008 Miami Heat). Last year, they finished 61 - 21.+ Suns Better Than Last Year
http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92260+ No Horry
Leave the conspiracy talk to Dallas and Phoenix fans. People love to hate winners+ Vast NBA Conspiracy spells doom for our beloved Spurs.
Since when do weathermen predict anything correctly?KENS-5's weatherman Bill Taylor, who also wants the Spurs to win but picked the Suns, said that any local sportscaster who picks the Spurs in Seven secretly thinks the Suns will win the series.![]()
ROFL.DAWN MURPHY, ESPN 1250.................SUNS in 4
is ruining the surname.
So did I last year in the Denver series.
That's what I was going to ask.
Hard to say or even have an opinion. Two closely matched teams, heated rivalry....good times. Spurs sweep !!![]()
Screw the media..especially Steven Ass Smith..well, except for the ones going for the Spurs then horray for them
go jump on the Rockets or Mavs bandwagon, ing dork.
Seriously what karma? The Suns players broke a rule and got suspended. Robert Horry was suspended. The Suns blew an 18 point lead at home in Game 5, and were dominated in Game 6 with their team at full strength. The Spurs won that series perfectly within the laws of karma.
Phoenix on the other hand ed and moaned about every little thing and wonders why they lost the series. If they spend as much time preparing for the Spurs as they do ing about why their pretty offense-no defense combo can't beat a solid team, maybe they might break through. I don't think they will.
Since "KORI ELLIS" isn't on your list. The list is null and void.![]()
no one even thought this series may end up in 5 in our run for the 5th
There's no karma here, it's not the Spurs fault Suns players got suspended for their own stupidity, and it's def. not their fault D'antoni didn't send nash to the locker room to get seal up his nose.
What do you expect?
All of them from the San Antonio media, homerism at its best
It depends--who are the refs betting on?
I find your lack of faith disturbing.
