Didn't score much, but he did everything else.
Without him, we would've been ed in so many ways.

Yeah he was underwhelming in the regular season but he came up huge in money time. Still not too rhythmic offensively but he played hard and smart.

SNaq and Amare combined for 12 rebounds in a 2OT game, 76 combined minutes. Kurt had 10 in 28 minutes.

I completely agree with the original poster. I did not have much confidence in Kurt when he came to the Spurs, but his near-the-rim blocking, stripping, and charge-taking has made me a fan. I am glad to have a veteran such as him to rely on this playoff season.

His performance was one of Bad mofo legend...He laid it out tonight. He was the enforcer for the Spurs, when Bowen had no one to guard, KT took it on himself to be the spurs heady defender. He gave Duncan some much needed minutes off of Shaq.

Its been a long while since we've had an "enforcer" on our team. Great trade for Elson!

He deserves a lot of credit. You look at his line and you wouldn't think so but he really played physical against Shaq and played smart basketball.

Thomas was great. So impressive he's been able to digest the Spurs offensive and defensive systems enough to be able to play big minutes in the playoffs after less than half a season with the team.

    Very very impressive.

I was very impressed with KT in this game especially!

His defense and his rebounding really helped the Spurs!

Thomas was huge, and even did a decent job on Amare at times. The Spurs will probably need 25-30 minutes from him, even though he might foul out of every game.

I'm still surprised Parker managed to foul out of the game....

Major props to Pop for being smart and not putting Vaughn in there for backup. He put Barry/Ginobili as the backup PG which was the most underated move of the game I think.

Yeah, the 6th foul was just BS. Tony was really amazing helping the team, looking for the shooters. He also had a couple of good J's.

And I liked the Barry move. I was so hoping that Pop wouldn't go to Jacque.

Indeed Barry IS a needed component. Thank God he came back in time!

Thomas did very well, but he did give away a few dumb 'and-1's.
