Hedo Turkoglu has season high 29 points, including a huge 3 pointer with a min to go to lead Orlando, along with Steve Francis to a huge win over the surging Pistons. Francis also had 12 rebs and 6 assists for another great game.

Looks like having teammates Christie and Hedo back together is paying off.
Yup, that Turkoglu sucks alright.
Good thing we didnt want a talented 610 small forward who could shoot, rebound, play defense.
Who the wants that.
Dallas is up on Washingtom 73-40 at halftime.
70 points in one half???![]()
Fuuuck meee!
Well TPark, had his nuts not shrunk up last year, he might still be on the team.
But, in the 4 games, Hedo has scored 23, 26 and 29 pts....I think he is playing with confidence now.
Orl 15 offensive rebounds? & 9 stls.? that's huge!
so did Robert Horry's Tony Parker's and the rest of the team outside of Devin Brown.Well TPark, had his nuts not shrunk up last year,
They are still here.
Hedo got a better contract than we would have been willing to give him. Period. He didn't suck, he wasn't cast off... he got a better deal elsewhere. End of story.
yes, thank God.
... maybe he just wants Stevie to forget Mobley?![]()
Where was that against LA last year?
Hes worth his contract more right now, than alot of guys contracts are.
Where was alot of things, Tony Parkers 20 some odd points. Duncan taking over and driving to the hole agressively. Manu Ginobili doing the same?Where was that against LA last year?
Hedo has always been a good player...offensively.
That's why I decided to have him on my fantasy team...
Magic are at top when it comes to PPG, and points allowed.
Hedo couldn't handle pop's way...so that's why they won't win.
Tony at least had two good games. Horry came a lot cheaper than $36M. End of story. He got an ample opportunity to show his stuff, having the starting job basicly handed to him, and he didn't get it done. Maybe he will thrive only on a middling playoff team that has no chance to drag him into the spotlight.so did Robert Horry's Tony Parker's and the rest of the team outside of Devin Brown.
hedo was on against pacers to
stange two games in a row
Actually he developed into quite a good defender here, but this does seem like a better situation for him offensively speaking.Hedo couldn't handle pop's way.
well washington put up 80 in one half against them
Lets see what he does in the playoffs before getting too excited. Just my opinion, but he played great for us in the regular season only to disappear in the playoffs.
Tpark, you and Hedo should be on the Dallas bandwagon.
Great in the regular season, choke when it matters in the playoffs.
Honestly, who gives a if Hedo scores 50 tonight or tomorrow or next week. When the game is on the line come the playoffs, he'll be standing frozen in the corner incapable of moving a foot to his right to catch a pass, just like last year.
He he, keep trying to convince yourselves that you didn't misjudge the kid. You based your whole evaluation of Hedo on a playoff performance. Fact is he has had up and down playoff performances in the past, as have alot of players. And he wouldn't be the first one to have the lightbulb turn on and get his together, he's only 25.
Anyhow, as Chump said, he's in a better situation for him offensively. Some of you seem to disagree with my rationale about his role last year not suiting his game, but then I would ask you how else you explain the demonstrably better play this season? He's regularly involved in the Magic offense, he actually receives passes from his point guard (Francis may be infinitely more of a ball hog than Parker, and I think Parker is developing into a great PG, but Parker avoided passing to Hedo like the plague, even when Hedo was hot), and he's utilizing all his talents rather than sitting behind the 3-point line "to open things up for Duncan". And, fact is, just as stats show the Magic significantly outscore the opponent with Hedo in the game, the same thing was true last season. In the regular season, THE TEAM PLAYED BETTER WITH HEDO IN THE GAME.
Whatever, best of luck to all.
I didn't see the whole game, but I did see Hedo take it to the rim a couple times, he STILL can't finish. Having gotten thru the flak still with the ball, he seems to just let the ball go in the general direction of the hoop, rather than some hangtime and actully shoot the damn thing.
Not a playoff performance. It was a body of work spanning Sacramento and SA. Some guys have playoff moxy. Others don't.You based your whole evaluation of Hedo on a playoff performance.
And BTW, you were just as down on him as the rest of us, national pride be damned.
